Dr. Eve Meltzer Krief joined the practice in 1999. Dr. Meltzer attended Undergraduate School at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where she majored in Comparative Literature. She went on to receive her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at Schneider Children's Hospital of Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She resides in Centerport with her husband who is a Pediatric Emergency Physician at Schneider Children's Hospital and her two children. Dr. Meltzer is a member of The Medical Society of the State of New York, The Suffolk County Medical Society, The Suffolk Pediatric Society and is a fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Meltzer is committed to educating parents about all aspects pertaining to the health, well-being and safety of their child. It is also very important to her that parents leave the office feeling reassured, with a real understanding of their child's condition and how to care for them. Dr. Meltzer has a special interest in promoting proper nutrition in her patients. As an adoptive parent she is also interested in issues related to adoption and has worked with parents in reviewing medical records prior to adopting. During her free time she loves spending time with her husband and two young children, loves to cook, exercise and read.
